Weekly News for January 20 – 26

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL: 
January is membership renewal month. You can renew online or in person.  Annual membership for individuals is $40; annual family membership (2 people) is $60. If you joined recently, you may not need to renew yet. Please call us if you have questions.

Class and Workshop News

• RICK IS GOING HYBRID: Starting this week, you can now attend Monday‘s Painting with Rick and Friday‘s Drawing with Rick at the LEC.  These online classes will be shown on the big screen TV in the LEC Library.  If you have questions, please email info@lectampa.org or call (813) 932-0241.

• AS EASY AS A-B-C: Poetry class meets on Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm online and in person. The topic for this week is Alphabet Poems. No experience necessary.  You may attend even if you missed previous weeks. Register online here, or you can email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

Club News

• WALKING CLUB:  Anyone interested in joining the Monday morning Walking Club outing this week, please email Arleen at grants@lectampa.org for details. Include your cell phone number.

• YARN ARTS CLUB is here! The new Yarn Arts Club will have its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, January 22 from 9:30am -11:30pm in the LEC Library.  Bring a yarn-based project to work on (or to get help with).  Attendance is in-person only. • PHOTO CLUB ZOOM: The Photo Club Zoom meeting for January will take place on January 22. Register online at org to receive the Zoom link.

Celebration of Life

• The Celebration of Life for LEC member, Elaine Mazzo, will take place at the LEC on Sunday, January 26 from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the LEC in Elaine’s name.
