Weekly News: March 3-8

MARCH POTLUCK

  • Our March Potluck will be Wednesday, March 5 from 12 – 1 pm. The guest speaker will be local author and LEC member, Judy Gray.  Please join us as she discusses the book she recently co-authored, Unwavering: The Wives Who Fought.to Ensure No Man is Left Behind.  It is the inspiring and little-known true story of POW and MIA wives who, during the Vietnam War, bucked tradition and cultural norms. Admonished by government officials to “keep quiet” after being told their husbands and sons went missing, these gutsy women endured a myriad twists and turns, spoke up, and moved from the sidelines to the frontlines of advocacy.
