Thursday, July 17^th Registration DEADLINE

• Wire Art Jewelry Workshop with Debra Joy Peisner: Monday, July 21 (10am – 12pm) $10 members/$12 non-members. Learn how to wrap a stone to make a pendant. Copper wire and stones provided or bring your own stone. Silver wire available for $12-$18 depending on stone size. Pre-registration required! To attend, please pay on or before Thursday, July 17. Class, Workshop, & Club News

• GAME ON! The new Games Club meets on Tuesdays from 1-3 pm ($0/$5). Train dominos will be the featured game. It is a fun, and easy-to-learn variation of dominos. No experience necessary.

• OUTLAW POETRY: On Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm the Poetry class meets online and in person. The topic for this week is “Words as Guns: Outlaw Poetry”. No experience necessary. Register online here, or you can email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

• “Christmas Cookies & Cocoa” Colored Pencils Workshop with Mark Menendez: Saturday, July 19 (10am – 3pm) $65 members/$80 non-members. Supplies provided. Learn easy colored pencil techniques to create realistic-looking shiny surfaces, shadows, and reflections from award-winning artist Mark Menendez. The techniques learned in this workshop can also be applied to other media like pastels. Limited seats available– Pre-registration required! • BOOK CLUB 2.0 JULY SELECTION: Read or listen to Murder on the Red River by Marcie R. Rendon, then join the discussion on Monday, July 28 (10am -12pm). (Note: This novel may have content not suitable for all readers.)
