Weekly News: Sept 1 – 6

The Life Enrichment Center will be CLOSED on Monday, September 1 in observation of Labor Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2 at their regular times.

SEPTEMBER POTLUCK: Wednesday, September 3, noon – 1pm
Enjoy food with friends following Labor Day weekend. Bringing autumn harvest-themed food is optional.

• YARN ARTS CLUB TIME SHIFT: On Wednesday, September 3, the Yarn Arts Club will meet from 9:30am – 11:15am.
• MAH JONGG TIME SHIFT: On Wednesday, September 3, Intermediate/Advanced Open Play Mah Jongg will meet from 1:30- 4pm.

• POETRY, POETRY, POETRY: On Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm the Poetry class meets online and in person. No experience necessary. The topic for this week is “Chant Poems,” where one word/phrase is repeated over and over, creating a powerful rhythmic effect, especially when read aloud. • BOOK CLUB 2.0 SEPTEMBER DISCUSSION: Read or listen to Sisters of Night and Fog by Erika Robuck, then join the discussion on Monday, September 29 (10am -12pm).
