• AIR-DRY CLAY HOUSES: Starting September 18. Thursdays (4 weeks) 10am – 12pm. $10/$12 per class + clay. No experience necessary. Unleash your inner architect & get your hands dirty. Imagine the joy of crafting a unique house or building entirely from your imagination. Do you envision a haunted house, a gingerbread house, a building from a Christmas village, or something else? Throughout the four classes, you will turn your vision into reality by learning to create a custom design, build an armature, manipulate air-dry clay, & add details. • CROSS OUT WORDS TO MAKE A POEM: On Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm the Poetry class meets online and in person. No experience necessary. The topic for this week is “Blackout Poems.” In this poetry form, one blacks out all the words of a chosen text except for a selected few, revealing a new poem. • BOOK CLUB 2.0 SEPTEMBER SELECTION: Read or listen to Sisters of Night and Fog by Erika Robuck, then join the discussion on Monday, September 29 (10am -12pm). LEC BIRTHDAY PARTY & BASKET RAFFLE NEWS!
The Life Enrichment Center is celebrating its 45th Birthday on November 8, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm.  As in years past, we’ll have vendors, a basket raffle, and more.

• BASKET RAFFLE: If you want to contribute to the baskets or if you want to help wrap and decorate baskets on 9/26, 9/29, and/or 9/30, please email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or just stop by.

LEC Gallery News

• AUTUMNAL ART WANTED: The Commemorative Art Exhibition is still on display in the LEC Gallery. However, on October 1, there will be a new set of artworks to view. Instead of an Artist of the Month, autumn-inspired art will adorn the walls.
