• POETRY PAUSE: The Thursday morning Poetry class is on hiatus until 2026.

• BEAD & WIRE “BERRIES”: Friday, October 10 (1 – 3pm) $10 / $12 Supplies included. No experience necessary. “It’s time to create handmade earrings! Friday, October 10th from 1:00-3:00 pm, be there or be square! Debra Joy Peisner, jeweler/instructor, will assist you to make your own earring wires, “berry” bead dangles, and beaded key chains. These handmade items make nice gifts too! Wire is very forgiving. If you make a mistake you can start over. • FABRIC COLLAGE: Thursday, October 16 (10am – 12pm) $10 / $12 Supplies included. No experience necessary. NO SEWING REQUIRED. • “GHOULISH” BEADED BRACELETS: Friday, October 17 (1 – 3pm) $10 / $12 Supplies included. No experience necessary. Debra Joy Peisner is teaching a “ghoulish” beaded bracelet class! Turquoise skulls and spiders are await. Come create a home for them on your wrist. These handmade items make nice gifts too! If you have beads that you’d like to use, feel free to bring them along. • BOOK CLUB 2.0 OCTOBER SELECTION: Read or listen to The Women by Kristin Hannah, then join the discussion on Monday, October 20 (10am -12pm) (Note: This book may have content not suitable for all readers.)

LEC BIRTHDAY PARTY & BASKET RAFFLE NEWS!
Spread the word! The Life Enrichment Center is celebrating its 45th Birthday on November 8, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm. We’ll have art vendors, a basket raffle, a silent auction, and more.

• RAFFLE TICKETS:  Tickets are now available for purchase ONLINE ONLY ($3 per ticket; 4 tickets for $10.) Click HERE to purchase online.
