The LEC is considering offering the following Saturday opportunities, but we need to know if there is enough interest before officially offering any of them.  Each is briefly described below.  Please read through the descriptions then fill out the form below to help us decide.  (Thanks in advance.)

Offering details:

  • Imagine Museum field trip: $7.50 per person.  Carpool leaving from LEC.  Cost covers admission to the museum, including a 20% discount in the museum shop.  Imagine Museum is a contemporary glass museum in St. Pete, featuring a collection with over 1,500 pieces from the U.S. and around the globe.
  • Holiday decoration workshop: 2 hours on Saturday, Dec. 7.  Probably 1-3pm, but time TBD. Cost: probably $10/$20.  Create at least three different ornaments (felt, quilling, diamond dot, origami, alcohol paint) and possibly a wreath to take home. The ornaments would be designed as “how to” examples of ones you could easily reproduce at home if you wish.  They could also double as gift tags.
  • Holiday gift and cardmaking: 2 hours on Saturday, Dec. 14.  Probably 1-3pm, but time TBD. Cost: probably $10/$20.  Create at least one small item as a gift for someone (jewelry, etc.) and also make a handmade card.
  • Winter Offerings Open House: Meet instructors, see examples/demos of classes, sign up for classes/workshops the LEC plans to offer during the new year.
  • Acrylic pour workshop: 2 hours on Saturday, January 12.  Probably 10am-noon, but time TBD.  Cost: probably $10/$20.  Create several canvases, each using a different acrylic pour technique.
